Air Commodore N Munirathnam has served the IAF at various levels in Operations, HR and Airport Infrastructure. He has been an Air Traffic Controller, an Examiner and Quality Auditor. He taught ICAO regulations to ATCOs and served as the Head Air Traffic Control Establishment of IAF. He has served as the Principal Director Air Traffic Services, Director Personnel for airmen and officers, Joint Director Air Staff Inspections Command ATCO prior to leaving the IAF recently. He has been responsible for modernisation of Airports in IAF, establishment of Nav Aids, safety services, safety regulations, training and standardisation, grant of NOCs and clearances for airports, airlines, heliports, site clearances in addition to other multifarious functions at the highest level of IAF.
