Dr. Balakista Reddy – Honorary Advisor (Air & Space Laws)

Dr.V.Balakista Reddy, Professor of International Law, Coordinator M.K Nayambar SAARC Law Centre, Head of Centre for Air and Space Laws, He is presently the Registrar of NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad. Dr. Reddy did his master’s in international law from Osmania University, Hyderabad and M. Phil. and Ph.D. in International Air and Space Law from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi.  He has over two decades of Teaching and Research experience.

Dr. Reddy was instrumental in establishing the advanced Center for Air and Space Law (CASL) www.nalsarcasl.com in 2005.  He is an internationally recognized expert in Air and Space Law, International Law, SAARC Law and a pioneer of International Trade and Business law.

Dr. Reddy has authored numerous books on Air & Space Laws and presented papers on the subject at various fora of national and international significance.

He is a visiting faculty to various universities in India and abroad, including Mississippi University, USA, Leiden University, The Netherlands etc. He is also an active member of many national and international institutions like International Institute of Space Law (IISL), Paris, The Indian Society of International Law (ISIL) and The Aeronautical Society of India (AeSI), New Delhi. He is associated with many projects and assignments of national interest.
